Hi, I’m Jillette—Founder of Focused Fatherhood, LLC, creator of the GirlDad Date Kits™, and the voice behind The GirlDad Vibe™ podcast.
I created Focused Fatherhood because I believe presence is the most powerful gift a father can give—and emotional legacy is the most lasting one.
My father wasn’t perfect, but he was present. He showed up with love, laughter, and lessons that shaped who I am. He taught me that connection doesn’t require perfection—it requires intention. That legacy lives in me, and now, it lives in this work.
As a certified life coach, DISC facilitator, and proud daddy’s girl, I’ve made it my mission to help fathers create lasting emotional legacy through intentional connection and presence. Not through rigid roles and societal expectations—but through presence, clarity, and emotional truth.
Focused Fatherhood is more than a brand. It’s a movement to help dads lead with love, connect with confidence, and create moments that matter.
Legacy Lessons That Shaped Me
Both my parents taught me love. But it was my father's presence that built my emotional resilience.
Here are a few of the lessons I carry forward—personally and professionally.
My dad taught me courage by showing up, not showing off. His presence gave me permission to be bold, even when I was unsure.
I believe emotional legacy is louder than words. The way my father loved me shaped how I love others—and how I lead.
I created GirlDad Date Kits™ because I lived the magic of intentional moments. One-on-one time with my dad made me feel seen, safe, and strong.
I don’t believe in perfect parenting. I believe in presence. That belief was shaped by both my parents—but from my dad, I learned what it means to feel emotionally safe in someone’s presence. That safety gave me the courage to lead, love, and live with intention. It’s the heartbeat behind everything I create.
